Good Morning

My first cup of coffee is sitting on my right as I scan through the morning news I am disheartened by the weather reports Irma is gaining strength worst than Harvey. Another sad note it has been reported that in Houston it’s every man for himself the evil has crawled out from beneath rocks rising up to create mayhem.

I know the media wants us to believe that the country is divided in half, I do not believe that is true. I have friends who are Democrats not necessarily liberal they are fed up with the hateful rhetoric. I am hoping there will be a drastic shift next election including the Republican side. Hey, I live in Michigan and Kid Rock has put his hat in the ring who knows what will come next right?

I don’t usually do political posts but it just seems the narrative these days resemble the Hurricanes trying to wipe out this nation. It is time to simply love thy neighbor. It doesn’t say like, but respect them as you respect yourself.

I will leave you with this:

Joy comes in the morning

after love the night before

Sweet eyes

  1. I’m on the weather channel again this morning watching the remaining Harvey devestation. Thankfully the flooding in many areas are gone. But still months and even years to repair. As for Irma, it shows it traveling north up the Atlantic and headed that way. Alot can happen between now and then, but we don’t need this hurricane slipping into the Gulf waters, ack!!

Love the deer above, of course. Hope you enjoyed that morning coffee. Haven’t had mine yet….but I will….I will. 😀

    1. I worry about Rose Last I heard they were getting a lot of rain. Sadly the thugs are causing as much havoc as the storm. I pray for the citizens of Texas I can’t imagine losing everything you worked for. Coupled with the worry for family members and pets.

      1. I hope Rose is ok as well. I have a cousin & his wife that live in Houston. They evacuated to Austin at the beginning of the week, but haven’t heard anything since then. I hope they are ok, also. Still so much going on over there. 🙁

          1. I have been through alot of hurricanes but never to the point of losing a home. I canNOT imagine anything more horrible. Granted, its all materialistic items, but still…its memorable things and your life’s belongings. I’d need therapy.

          2. I have lost all before partly because my dad being in the military I have a way of distancing myself from loss. With that said I would be afraid of storms not so much of the loss, if that makes sense.

  2. Wind damage, flooding and tornados are way more worrisome over personal belongings. The above…kill. That’s frightening, way more than losing personal items IMO.
