Nostalgia time for Ez. When I first showed up on T.com many T.com incarnations ago they had a forum with a little hangout called Marie’s Chat room. I wasted a tremendous amount of time there some nights. I even met two Aussie angels there, Kaybee and Easy2say (now Kaybees and E2S2). For all the T.com transitions and spam (and spam, and more spam) there have also been some great friends along the way. Some have come and gone and some remain. Think I’ll just set a spell and reminisce about good times with good people.
November 14, 2017 at 7:34 pm #6940
Back in the chat room talking to myself again but that’s alright, I enjoy my company and I enjoy intelligent conversation. 😉 😀
November 14, 2017 at 8:19 pm #6944
Oi! yep…..I so get this.
You just don’t know how many world problems I have solved all on my own.
And my mathematical equations all over my walls would make absolutely no sense to anyone in this chatroom thats for sure 😉
And my singing voice is the BEST when I sing all alone. It’s my cathedral ceilings…..I think my whole town may hear me when I bust out my tunes. Lucky them.
As for Maries Chatroom…….I do remember it. And there was one poster in there I really liked. She made everyone feel welcomed. What was her name? I will remember it one day. She didnt post much and actually stopped posting back then.
Anyhow….made an early dinner and am debating going for a Starbucks.
November 14, 2017 at 8:36 pm #6947
Wonder if she was the one the mod templar was crazy about? Try to think of her name while I rustle up some grub…so when are you going to post a youtube of you singing “It’s raining men”?
November 14, 2017 at 8:50 pm #6951
I was thinking more of songs from “Giuditta” or Puccini’s Nessun Dorma. Or maybe even Mary had a little lamb 😉
November 14, 2017 at 9:08 pm #6954
Awesome! So your taking requests! Gimme a couple minutes, it’s coming to me!…btw when you laugh at me it sounds my tender, delicate, chaste feelings. I’m a fragile snowflake. 😉
November 15, 2017 at 7:36 am #7048
what are the operating hours of the chatroom? Is there an age limit (or max? lol) and what is the cover fee? I think I’d be interested in attending, but I can only attend between 8pm and 9pm-ish (est US time) weekdays (or when at work during the day when I get a moment) . Weekends, well, God knows. I’d be in and out more than an In-and-Out drive thru! lol

@ Dan I, yeah, right, you be checking out this hunka hunka burnin’ love you see before you here! 😀
November 15, 2017 at 8:51 pm #7096
Hmmmm….the only thing I see is a bulleye target….it don’t look like a hunka hunka…of anything! 😀
November 15, 2017 at 8:54 pm #7097
That’s my sweet spot! 😉
November 16, 2017 at 6:32 pm #7164
I remembered her name. One of the Thoughts originals in the chat room.
She went by Merlin or Merilyn?
I only got to get to know a bit more about her when we both joined “After Thoughts” after they got rid of the forums on Thoughts.
November 16, 2017 at 6:53 pm #7166
Yeah, I went to after thoughts but it just never really took off…mostly fueled by a whole buncha ticked off about the forums…
November 22, 2017 at 5:35 pm #7584
I wasn’t really mad about it….just disappointed.
I think a great site would embrace both.
November 17, 2017 at 2:05 pm #7235
Wow.. how many names I have forgotten .
And I too visited afterthoughts for a short time..
And came to make peace with Wayne. aka
Went to Kilty Boy’s site ( George ) too and remember Moni there too…
When “Sassy” passed there shortly after
I left another site ” Saffy” had invited me into…
And there was a forum called the ” Members Lounge” and if I remember correctly
you were either invited ? or had to have a certain amount of posts to be
Met up with Moni there on the Music Forum ( smile)
Well there are a few names I will never forget ?
EZ is a Good One ! (smile)
William Lame Bull
And who could forget
( SMILE ) yikes
November 22, 2017 at 5:43 pm #7585
Well…Kilty was everyones apparently haha! But he was really a wild card wasn’t he?
I went to Saffys and was lucky to post with the coolest 90+ year old lady named Gilly. Remember her? She loved music and use to play in a band in her younger days.
I don’t recall a members lounge…was that at Saffys?
I did go to another site and met one of the funniest
men alive. I would actually cry laughing reading his post. He was a jokester.
Hardly ever serious. LOVED reading him. He brought the sunshine daily.
I wonder if I can find him and invite him here…..
Anyhow….the stories we can tell about the characters we run across
November 23, 2017 at 3:22 pm #7666
Twas ” Sassy” I remember sharing her music videos with us on
The Village Park. Both`Saffy and Sassy gave me one of the sweetest replies
before Howling Wolf ( Wayne ) aka `After Thoughts etc. and I made peace.
Al Qaeda < I remember as a rough character too. His little girl
thought my avatar was “me” and said I was a very smart man. After I had used
the face of the
Most Interesting Man in The World` on Kilty’s ( George’s ) site
And what can I say about Zaphod (Rene )..
Oh and Moni do you remember when Kilty made us both special avatar flags ?
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hahaha… I be TRIP’IN ! for sure…
Toot`.. I am not ! Somebody STOP ME please and
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank You very Much !!!! ( SMILE )………
December 29, 2017 at 4:44 pm #10928
Awww….I remember Alf Queda. He was a special person with a wild personality.
He gave me his address and I wish I still had it so I can send him a card. I don’t even have his email anymore.
Zaphod and I follow each other on twitter.
I think it’s maple season….so he must be busy this time of year. I always wanted to go visit his mountain to see the maple making process.
I think Saffys email was hacked. I got a spam email from her a while ago. She is such a wonderful person.
What crazy memories 😉
November 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm #7248
Gotta good memories attached to those names…except EZ, that one’s just a head scratcher! 😀
November 17, 2017 at 9:49 pm #7262
Well that EZ (“Mr. J” ) wink
right off the bat
And I was amazed at the depth and width` of his talents..
Amazing Man that guy
( smile)..Always such a pleasure
and rich reward in reading what you share !
~~ Thanks ! ~~~~

November 18, 2017 at 9:02 pm #7375
I over did over doing it today…someone call the coroner.
November 22, 2017 at 5:50 pm #7586
I am enjoying a small break today before I make one more trip to pick up a table cloth and start prepping some French baguettes and the crucial
We decided last minute to cook and stay home. The last few years we have been making reservations and eating out on Thanksgiving.
It’s supposed to be in the 90’s again tomorrow. Now I am kinda wishing we could just spend the day at the beach with turkey sandwiches.
AFTER the parade of course 😉
November 22, 2017 at 7:19 pm #7587
Mid 60’s here. Had BBQ today and restaurant takeout tomorrow. My daughter from Milwaukee is in town trying to rehab my knuckle dragging, redneck, caveman self. No beaches but wouldn’t mind a hike in the mountains to work off some of the excess nutrients 😀
November 25, 2017 at 2:54 pm #7899
I Thanksgiving hike sounds perfect IF YOUR NOT STUCK IN THE KITCHEN that is.
I have to get better at planning the day. You know….like a time line.
So we could eat early and enjoy a hike and come home and enjoy plate #2 with pie.
Did your daughter teach you how to use a fork yet?
November 25, 2017 at 4:18 pm #7917
Lol,she knows me! First thing she did was take me out to dinner for some BBQ, no knives forks or spoons allowed! 😀
November 25, 2017 at 11:33 pm #7974
Just sitting on the floor working on more Garland tonight.
And watching corny Hallmark Christmas movies.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday nights.
November 28, 2017 at 3:13 pm #8145
Do you ever wonder?………
December 10, 2017 at 6:14 pm #8950
I tell ya……the road is not the place for me.
This is the third time I have been hit…and this is the worst.
Feeling better…fingers ache just a little compared to last week from gripping my wheel so tight.
Horrible timing….my family is flying in next week. I was shopping for beds and room decor and really enjoying preparing my house.
It’s a sign I am sure….I just have to figure out what it is.
Just thankful I was the only one in the car and thankful everyone in the other cars were ok.
Hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season.

its a sign alright. it says move out before we run you over or burn you down! l)
December 13, 2017 at 5:05 pm #9255
TELL ME ABOUT IT!
We have been on HIGH ALERT due to fires. Thank goodness the one near my house was put out almost instantly.
We had earthquakes last week….it’s been WILD.
I am contemplating a move…..inward?
I may just close my eyes and poke a world globe 😉
December 13, 2017 at 8:14 pm #9263
Toss a dart at a map while blindfolded and hope it doesn’t land in the ocean!
It’s nice and peaceful in S.C…just sayin’ 😀
December 14, 2017 at 6:44 pm #9377
Hope it doesn’t land in the ocean? Ha! 🙂
Well you know….people actually live on cruise ships or travel cruise ships all year long. Can you imagine?
So landing in the ocean could be a possibility…..if it were not for my motion sickness. I must conquer this motion sickness thing.
The pros and cons of South Carolina.
You have a beach.
You have Gullah Island.
There are Native tribes there living in the hills 😉
Part of the Appalachian trail is there?
What are the cons?
How about Big Foot?
December 14, 2017 at 9:14 pm #9385
No gators near the Appalachian trail. Little to no humidity near the appalachian trail. No Bigfoot. This is the area called the upstate. The Upstate is the home to some of the Catawaba and Cherokee Indians.
The Midlands is where the humidity starts and the low country is where you die from humidity and gators.
December 19, 2017 at 2:32 am #9667
“Low country is where you die from humidity” hahahaha…..I don’t know why that cracked me up. It was like I heard your expression when you said that.
As for no Big Foot…..you are a hiker and know the woods…..what stories have you heard?
And it’s not that I WANT to see one…..I am perfectly fine NOT seeing one. I just want to avoid their territory is all. Cause I love a good hike and camping. Don’t want no rocks being thrown or growls waking me up at night.
Catawaba? Never heard of them. Gonna look them up. So many tribes in this world
When I first met my ex he told me he was Cocopah. I looked at him and said….GET OUT HERE! Who ever heard of the Cocopahs? Mind you I was just 18 and just assumed I knew it all. Turned out to be a real tribe with a real reservation and a real casino.
I think I must plan a visit to the Carolinas JUST to see whats going on 😉
December 19, 2017 at 4:16 am #9677
My family finally arrived.
All are tucked away sleeping in their nooks.
I figured I would catch up here a little before I close my eyes.
Hope everyone is surviving the holiday madness out there.
December 29, 2017 at 5:09 pm #10929
Well……we had a summer Christmas here. It’s been in the 80’s. Shorts and flip flops may become our year around thing here. And maybe because I am getting older…I am starting to like the sunny warm Christmas thing. I mean…it use to bug me when I was younger. But being able to swim in the pool….lay at the beach in the fall/winter…is a beautiful thing.
My family is still here but I am down for the count.
I am fighting the flu…and achy back still. So I am in my room with my sliding door wide open feeling the slight breeze. It is a such a beautiful day.
December 29, 2017 at 5:45 pm #10931
It’s like a balmy 50ish degrees here heading for the 30’s tonight. I may be in the deep south but I’m still in the foothills of the Appalachians so we see some chill each year. Sorry to hear the flu has got ya down…guess all that easy socal living has weakened your I.mine system! 😀
December 29, 2017 at 5:56 pm #10933
First off…..ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? You live at the foothills of the Appalachians???? It MUST BE beautiful! Hiking the Appalachians has been a dream of mine. And you live there. LUCKY YOU!
Secondly….yeah about my immune system. My Dr told me I would be more susceptible
to illness since my accident. She said my body is healing. And silly me went with my mother to a crowded bingo hall the other night. My little mom is getting older and she isn’t comfortable going to places alone anymore. But she sure can play multiple bingo cards.
My bones ached a little reading “low 30’s”
December 29, 2017 at 6:16 pm #10935
Yeah, the Appalachian Trail isn’t far from me but that would be a bit longer hike than I’m up for. And then there’s the Smokey Mountain Parkway just a couple hours away. It’s alright here but the area I live in has gone from rural to suburb…or at least it’s getting a bit to crowded for me. May have to look to moving closer to the mountains.
December 30, 2017 at 8:45 pm #11050
“from rural to suburb”….don’t you hate that?
I love the country…..I love when houses are acres apart. And when the city gets too crowded they build more and more houses on the outskirts and push us back country folks even further back.
You know what is really starting to irk me……the planes.
We live out here for the quiet and some idiots decide to fly back and forth over our houses during flying lessons.
Just ruins my skinny dipping 😉 ha!
Anywho…..I had a miserable night.
The Flu bug is kicking my butt.
I hurt….my head hurt….my ribs hurt from coughing all night. Seems to have hit me fast and hard. And we made reservations for tonight downtown. I am drugged up and hopefully will be ok for the night. My sister started to feel the bug yesterday and won’t make it to dinner with us. I want to stay home with her so bad but I am host and gotta shine 🙂
I never had a flu shot….but this is the second time I have gotten sick this year.
I am going to really think about getting that shot. I can’t tell my sons because they are big advocates on natural healing. they hardly ever get sick. I advocate natural remedies too….but this flu is MISERY. I don’t want to feel this way again.
Hope everyone enjoys their evening.
December 30, 2017 at 9:31 pm #11052
Sorry to hear you’ll be partying sick. Maybe after the first couple bottles of Champaign you won’t notice the bug so much…now, back to the skinny dipping, tell us more! 😉 😀
December 31, 2017 at 7:51 pm #11079
Only thing my mothers prescription pain killer couldn’t stop from hurting was my throbbing head.
But everyone had a good time last night as I wallowed in my hot tea.
December 31, 2017 at 8:04 pm #11080
Talk about a wild New Years……I bet no one can top this.
We have Uno….Charades….poker all planned at my place.
We have a nacho bar and a Nespresso bar and at midnight….APPLE CIDER!!!!
Pizza and pigs in the blanket to snack on all night.
All for my 12 year old Grand Nephew.
I most likely will be sleeping …but I will try to get a game of uno or 2 in before I zonk out.
Wishing everyone a fun and safe night.
December 31, 2017 at 8:38 pm #11081
Well, I just wrapped up watching John Wayne’s “The Quiet Man” and am proceeding to knock out a chapter of Jonathan Cahn’s “The Paradigm” before moving on to other rip roaring ventures this New Years There is some random fireworks and occasional gunfire since its gotten dark. Rednecks were special made for New Years and the 4th of July. Don’t cheat at Uno or draw the Dead man’s hand at poker! 😀
January 1, 2018 at 7:38 am #11124
Damn your wild 😉
If my family wasn’t here….I probably would be doing exactly what you did.
It is 4:30 in the morning and I am still awake. That darn Nespresso bar.
It was a WILD night. I can’t tell you how many Uno games I played. I didn’t win one game but I laughed so hard I cried and cried.
The rules kept changing and I didn’t really care.
I have a family full of comedians.
We didnt even get to poker…..but that was fine with everyone.
And if we were back on the reservation they light fireworks too. But since we are in dry San Diego they had to settle for poppers.
Wild Indians I tell ya…. 😉
Hope no one got shot in your hood
January 1, 2018 at 8:46 am #11130
No one got shot here. Just a couple folks with small farms that like to fire off a few rounds to celebrate. Since we’re not in city limits (yet) it’s no harm, no foul. Lol, everything’s good out here in the sticks. Happy New Year!
January 3, 2018 at 7:39 am #11350
My family left yesterday except my sister. She is going to stay a few more weeks.
I am always sad when I leave their house or they leave mine.
I was walking around the empty house trying not to cry. I already miss my mom.
January 3, 2018 at 3:55 pm #11386
Your fortunate. To have a family that you feel that way about. With all the dysfunctional families I’m always hearing about (or know) I’d say your blessed.
January 4, 2018 at 3:03 am #11450
Thank you John….I feel blessed.
And our family went through it’s ups and downs like most. But it took maturing and healing to get us where we are.
You can’t grow and move on in life if you keep dwelling on the negatives.
And we all moved past those bumps.
January 6, 2018 at 5:14 pm #11716
A little cooler today but still warm enough to keep wearing summer clothes.
Sister and I have been enjoying the movies and dining out and just mozying around San Diego.
My sister is a year younger….and she is beautiful and spiritual…and her heart is big. And she is single. I know she intimidates people with her looks. I remember when we were younger…where ever we went some brave soul would approach her and ask her if she would marry them. I can’t tell you how many times I witnessed that.
She would always look at me and start laughing and whisper….lets get out of here.
She is fun and wild still….but just a sober tamed version of her younger self.
So we have so much fun
Anyhow thinkrs….I hope all are enjoying their weekends.
I am heading out again.
January 7, 2018 at 12:21 pm #11752
Hmm, beautiful, single, big hearted, spiritual sister who rejects marriage proposals…does she have a beautiful, single, big hearted, spiritual sister who accepts them? 😉
January 7, 2018 at 12:20 pm #11751
January 9, 2018 at 6:43 am #12041
We finally have RAIN!
But it was like a summer rain. Humid and warm at first.
So we drove to the lake……
This is one of my sons. My sons for years let it be known that they do not want their pictures all over the internet. But this son was ok with it because it was of the back of his head. His hair goes down to his butt but he had it up in a bun and in a beanie today. This son can truly be a model. He is too handsome for his own good. I have to keep their egos in check from time to time 😉
We were watching a Blue Herring in it’s nest.
Afterwards we went to City tacos for some Vegetarian tacos.
A portabello mushtoom taco and a cauliflower taco in a jicama shell.
LOVE THESE TACOS.
of course you have to eat lots to get full.
My sister ordered carne asada tacos cause she is a meat and potato gal.
Anyhow…..that’s how you spend a rainy day here in San Diego.
The beach is usually a place I love going when it rains. But I am still getting over my flu and didn’t want to push it too much.
January 12, 2018 at 5:57 am #12507
New kind of headache today.
Very odd….gonna see my Dr. in a few hours.
I’m not a headache person.
So if I made no sense in anything I wrote…..blame the headache.
Have a good day thinkers.
January 12, 2018 at 3:53 pm #12559
I have that affect on women. Headaches that is.
January 13, 2018 at 5:25 am #12621
Dr. feels it’s sinus related.
This getting old thing is for the birds.
Modern Medicine remedy: Flonase
Natural Remedy: Neti Pot
January 13, 2018 at 9:56 am #12645
January 16, 2018 at 6:02 am #13015
Well….on the map it’s only 11 inches apart.
January 16, 2018 at 6:07 am #13016
Was out late tonight with my sister again. She goes home on Saturday so we are getting in all the movies and restaurants we can. Back in South Dakota you have to drive 2 hours for a movie night and a decent place to eat.
Hope everyone enjoyed MLK Day.
Going to sleep….will catch up soon.
Oh…we got an appointment with our family friend who is a Witch later today.
She is gonna read my tarot cards and read Shells for my sister.
What are the cards gonna tell me I wonder 😉
January 20, 2018 at 5:26 am #13459
Downtown tonight. It drizzled all night.
January 21, 2018 at 5:12 am #13545
Went to watch the sunset with my sister. She had to put her feet in the water before she goes home tomorrow. The ocean is our home since we grew up at the beach so she had to pay one last visit.
Was a lone fisherman out there.
My feet went numb in a few seconds…
A sunset for me takes time. If you wait and watch all the shades turn in the sky….you luck out and get the moon in there as well. There are times you feel a shift in the wind…waves slow and there is a quiet space in-between. Its peaceful and beautiful.
I’m gonna miss my sister.
January 27, 2018 at 6:22 am #13944
ok…so for me…my day ends when I fall asleep. So though technically it’s Saturday I am still on Friday.
So today (Friday)…was Tax day. I am thankful it’s over with. I actually am my sons Admin Assistant. I make their appointments…make their travel arrangements….handle their accounts ….keep their mail in order and make sure they see my hair dresser once a month.
So I had to get all of their tax paper work in order as well.
That was our day today ….along with a visit to our insurance company to sign paperwork from my accident.
After business was done…we went to a few car lots to look at cars.
We can not agree. They want to keep me safe and want me in a fancier car. I want a lifted topless jeep with 4 doors. The car is for me mind you.
I appreciate my sons looking out for me…..but I am not old and helpless. YET!
So we tabled the discussion for another time.
I am grateful for my sons….but they are too stubborn sometimes.
January 28, 2018 at 6:24 am #13994
We are on Fire Alert for the next few days again.
Santa Ana winds are picking up outside….I can hear the wind through the trees.
We are supposed to get into the 80’s – possibly 90’s later.
We have been alerted to possible power outages if the winds get too strong.
I don’t think I will be enjoying my Sunday much.
January 28, 2018 at 8:36 am #13997
Rainy night. Nice sleeping weather. Going to be a drizzly, lazy day here. 😀
February 1, 2018 at 5:35 am #14182
Ok….so I just created a topic in the “Love” forum and it’s missing.
I can’t find it anywhere.
It’s about “Timing”….so if anyone see’s it…send it home please 😉
February 2, 2018 at 5:17 am #14263
That was the point of the topic of discussion.
How “Timing” and “Love” has played a role in our lives.
I’ll start it again when both eyes are open 😉
February 13, 2018 at 5:11 am #14995
Just a few days ago we were wearing shorts and Birkenstocks in 80 degree sunshine. Yesterday ….San Diego winter finally arrived. Grey clouds rolled in and it was in the mid 60’s where I live. CHILLY!!! Right now it is drizzling and 44′ and my warm fire finally went out. It actually is nice hearing the rain fall on the skylights.
I know I shouldn’t be complaining about the cold with some of you dealing with snow. I admit….I can be a spoiled California Gal sometimes.
April 16, 2018 at 5:26 am #16685
Older sister came to visit and get a little bit of cosmetic surgery done. She was here for 6 weeks and I was downsizing at the same time so I was busy busy busy. She flew back home last week so I took a few days to recover. I love my sisters and of course I was so sad when she left…..but I think I have become use to this lifestyle of no one in the house? Don’t know how to word it.
In my new place. It’s almost Half the size which I LOVE ….no one needs a big house. AND…I can see the ocean from my balcony. I am still 12 miles away …but the view is amazing. I can see ships out on the ocean and the San Diego skyline.
Though I love it here the hike up these hills is a killer.
Happy Monday Thinkrs.
May 28, 2018 at 6:28 pm #17473
Just sharing the view from my balcony. Not a bad place to hang out with a broken toe.
If you really look you can see the San Diego Downtown skyline. I tease my brother who lives in one of those tall buildings that I am keeping an eye on him.
And there is the ocean too.
If I look to the east….these are our hills and mountains.
May 28, 2018 at 6:33 pm #17474
Ur stallin’! Where’s the picture of the toe?😠
May 28, 2018 at 6:47 pm #17477
Hahahahahaha…..my toe is still bruised believe it or not. And the toes next to it and the top of my foot. So strange how it took a few days for the bruising to show.
How about I show you my cats bedroom? He has the best view in the house. See how he tears up his bed?
Actually I can’t decide how to furnish this room. I don’t want a TV in there because the view is amazing. Thats Mexico way over there.
Here he is peeking down below to the bottom balcony.
May 28, 2018 at 7:16 pm #17478
Nice views. Looks to be a nice evening too…but ur still holding out on the toe! 😁

You bake snowflakes in San Diego! Do they scream and cry or just demand a safe space?
And are snowflakes really used in alchemy? 😁

I couldn’t post this as a reply on my cookie thread….so here it is.
Sloppy I know….But I think I did that around 3am when I read your reply.
I needed ideas for more cookies because I made everyone twice already.
Groovy pants eh?
December 24, 2018 at 11:05 am #20835
Love it – especially because it looks just like me and green is my favorite color! Lol, love the thought of you devouring my Christmas cookie incarnation for Christmas too! 😉 😀
Oops! Bad boy, EZWAYZ! Bad! Bad! Bad! 😢
OK, I’ll be good now before Santa brings me a lump of coal again (for like the gazillanth time)! 😵
I hope you have a Merry Christmas Monica!
Couldn’t find any mistletoe on the site but…😘
