  1. Trust is the hardest thing to get back. Remember this always, “Be true to yourself!” Usually your gut will convey to your heart and mind the truth. Peace to you!

  2. I am thinking his choice was not about you but it certainly was about being desirous of his best friend. It was a choice that did not consider or if it did, ignored how deeply it would hurt you. Perhaps not making any decision while your emotions are pulling you apart can wait? I am guided often by a Taoist saying – “Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear?” Your hurt wants release from the pain but though it sucks right now – perhaps a positive will advise you. I wish the best possible for you.

  3. True love overcomes all things. To get over this you must never bring it up again to him if he is truly sorry. You should be his best friend and if he doesn’t consider you his best friend I’d think long and hard about if you want to trust him again. We all deserve to be in love with our best friend. I’m sorry for your pain. I’ve been cheated on in the past as well and I never did get over it. It haunted me every time I made love to him after that. It made me feel ugly and not good enough. He shouldn’t even be subjecting you to being around her. That’s really disrespectful. I wish you the best decision. One piece of advice… follow peace. If you don’t have peace in your mind about something… run!
